I spotted the latest pack of Doctor Who Top Trumps at Whitcoulls today when I was buying some DVDs, so I bought it to see if it contained as much in the way of silliness as the Transformers Top Trumps packs do. I was not disappointed.

Amy Pond, as smart as Davros and Rassilon? WTF? Doctor/Donna is way smarter than Amy. And Winston, while I sure he was a smart man, there is no way he should rate a 52. I love River Song but she is not smarter than Rassilon and the Master and Davros. Maybe close but not above.

And Amy is not a clone of the Doctor. She is a manipulation of his DNA, which means that she is more like a child (of a single parent, yes, but a clone implies a near exact copy).

Ah, I stand corrected. But even so, you'd expect a child of the Doctor's to be almost as clever as he is. Perhaps they figure she's not as smart because she lacks life experience?
