It hadn't been much more than a week by User time standards since Rinzler had arrived here and yet already he was having to readjust. The city had changed seemingly overnight. And despite the fact that Rinzler hadn't engaged in a downcycle he hadn't seen any of it coming. One nano it was plain and empty in the city, the next second racket was issuing forth from his communication device and there were multicolored lights strewn everywhere. It made no sense.
Even the precious place had seemed to make more sense than this. He began to wonder if this was the User world or something simply designed to mimic it. The sudden changes certainly had felt like something an Admin would have been able to issue... even back on the station when CLU got control of a zone it had taken time to adjust everything to suit his needs.
Rinzler shook his head clear. He didn't need to be distracted right now; he had other priorities right now. Like deciding whether that white blob of solidified water had just moved or if he was experiencing some sort of glitch. (User, he hoped not. Who would fix him here?) It wasn't moving now that he was watching it carefully but he couldn't help but feel as though...he were being watched.
He didn't like this one bit.
For a moment he considered calling his double for an assessing chat on the recent developments. He didn't know who else to contact (except for maybe that useful Cybertronian) and something seemed better than nothing. Maybe the other had extra data from being here longer, or had been "in the right place at the right time" to put it into simple User terms.
But as he was debating over the pros and cons his attention was diverted. All it took was a second of distraction for the unexpected to happen. One moment he was retrieving his communication device from his pocket and the next thing he knew something cold and white was inexplicably wrapped around him, covering him, smothering him.
With a high-pitched growl that quickly reverted back to something deep, dark, and dangerous after the initial surprise, Rinzler began to struggle inside the icy beast. A few of his limbs stuck out but the main portion of him was stuck inside--and worst of all he couldn't quite seem to reach his discs.
This was bad. More to the point: this was so very annoying.
