[ Alex will never admit it, but the trees being decorated and the lights are actually... kind of pleasant. Which is all, of course, ruined, not only by the fact his phone won't effing stop playing holiday tunes, but he's having to spend the time investigating the new decor with Jackass McDouchecanoe, Pyro. How he even ended up hanging out with him of all people is beyond Alex, though Kitty's presence, and their mutual dislike for said jackass, makes it bearable.

He's got hands stuffed in his pockets, because it's freaking cold, and no, he is not putting on gloves and most certainly not mittens, and idling kicking at the clumps of snow as he leisurely strolls with the other two X-babies. He's about to go turn down another street when he catches something out of the corner of his eye. ]

...Was that snowman there before?

I've seen a couple of snowmen around. [ Rogue might have told her that Pyro was still John, and considering that he hadn't seemed to know that the Professor had died it told her that he was from the past but... she still didn't want to trust him. If Alex hadn't have been there - he was friendly enough, anyway - she certainly wouldn't have been. She might have promised to give Magneto a chance but Pyro was a little more recent than that, and he was still an ass ]

[Said ass was aware of the mutual thought processes of hatred being directed at him from his 'roomie and friend' as they wandered, and just couldn't quite keep the smile off his face because of it. Even if the goddamn cellphone was about to make him kill someone in some strange hope the sacrifice would please it enough to shut up for five seconds, the knowledge others were annoyed more by the phone/him combo helped keep the urge at bay.

He turns slightly on his heel, pausing mid-step, as the snowman talk begins, then resumes walking towards the new found frosty, lighter clutched in hand.]

Me too. Is someone here going around making 'em? [ Likewise, Alex probably wouldn't have willingly been around Pyro anyway, though it had seem that they just ended up together a lot recently. Maybe it was some weird kind of bonding over going all mutant on the pinball machine. Whatever. When Pyro starts stalking over the snowman Alex gives a snort, rolling his eyes. ]

Seriously, man? You're gonna kill a damn snowman? [ You are like all of the mean people in every cheesy Christmas movie ever. ] Some kid probably made that.
