[He actually meant for this to be audio and isn't actually aware that it's video. The phone is sitting on the bed beside him, giving Shepard a nice view of the ceiling, but out of one side you can just barely see Mordin leaning back against the wall, eyes closed.

He's breathing at least, right?]

Alive yes. Difficulties getting off cuffs. Resulted in strong occurrence of side effects. Have not worn off completely. Will survive.

[Tali's not really feeling up to videoing herself - she doesn't want to go to audio either, but she's too busy to type. Her voice sounds weak, shaky and like someone unmistakeably on a lot of medication.]

The damned handcuffs put holes in my suit. I'm in the hospital trying to fix it... but I might need another pair of hands. I'll call Legion, they might know something about enviro-suits.

I'm fine. [It's briskly dismissive, but for once, she's not playing her own troubles off, she's just that worried. Not that she wouldn't be playing her own troubles off as inconsequential if she weren't, but. Context.]

Do you have everything you need in terms of materials?

I can jury rig something right now, but I'll have to be careful with it. It'll break even easier next time. When I'm back on my feet, I'll go looking for the right materials and attempt a proper fix.

[A laugh that sounds anything but amused.] But without a sterile room to work in, that's going to be a huge operation as well.
