[ it was lucy's voice that had susan springing to action. she jumps to her feet and goes out the door, taking along some clothes with her as she did so. ] Why are you here? [ the question comes out sharply, as if she's blaming her sister for being trapped here - and yet susan's blaming the city for it. she shakes her head as if to clear it and asks, ] I mean-- you're all right, aren't you?

[No amount of anger, no matter whom it is directed to, can quash the relief that Lucy feels at seeing her sister, even if it is under rather inauspicious circumstances.]

I'm quite fine, Su. One or two people have been explaining things a bit, but it's all rather confusing.
