[He hears the voice and think it feels familiar, so he picks up to phone in time to see Éowyn's face. And he freezes for a moment. The person he wants the most to see in the place he least wants them to be; what a nightmare.

He recovers quickly enough and gets up, quickly gathering together a few warm items for her to wear in case there's nothing outside the morgue door.

Then he speaks, a bit overcome.]

Sister, you are not dead. I am here too. And I am coming to get you.

[ she, too, freezes as she hears her brother's voice, and she looks about her - both certain and uncertain of what she has heard. éowyn then turns her gaze towards that contraption she holds and lo! she can see éomer in it! ]

Éomer? How is it that I can see you, and hear your voice? [ her voice hardens. ] What sorcery is this?

[He's on the move, but keeps the phone turned up towards his face. At the moment he's an odd mixture of joy to have his sister there and anger at the force that brought her to be a prisoner.]

Presumably it is the same sorcery that brought us to this place, the source of which is still unknown to us. Tell me, Éowyn, are you hurt in any way? And what was the date the last you remember?

[ she frowns at her brother's question. ] I know not the date. I know not how long I have slumbered since the Battle in Pelennor. Since our uncle-- [ here, she pauses, swallowing the sorrow at the memory of their king, now forever lost to them. ]

voice;

And why would you wish yourself dead?

[ she frowns. this time, éowyn cannot see who has spoken, and she is certain she does not know his voice. ]

Who are you? Show yourself, if you are able!

[The phone had been put aside, left on a table the moment he arrived at the Elven camp. It was something he did not wish to use. But, the red flashing light on it caught his attention this time. When he picked it up, the screen came to life and he heard the voice and saw the face of someone very familiar.]

[ she cannot help the sorrow that blankets her features at the sight of the man in the device she holds. ]

My Lord Aragorn. [ her voice softens even further. ] You were the one who called me from the dead. Why?
