Under what circumstances were you imprisoned last?

[He hesitates before answering if only to put together his thoughts.] The last circumstances were just as mysterious at first... but eventually we began to discover the pieces of the puzzle and put them together. Each of us awoken in an abandoned, run-down city known as Discedo. We had no knowledge of the world, there were no residents other than a few elusive personae seen only through the communication devices we were provided, and those of us with special abilities or powers such as magic and the like were restricted from using them. [Which, at least here is not the case, thank God.] It turned out we were taken from home by a machine of some sort and the place had underwent a war in the recent past. We were simply a way to repopulate and fight again...
[To say that he was displeased is an understatement. It was not a fun adventure even if he did manage to make the best of it.]
