[Shaun is not impressed. Not only has he woken up on a slab, with no recollection of dying, but the ones responsible have felt it necessary to strip him of his favourite sweater? That's low, mate

[Just kidding, Shaun.
She's struck speechless, staring at the phone, wondering how in the hell this is possible.
I mean, it was more probable than some things, but still... Lucy's said maybe he was working on getting them out, and now Rebecca's not even certain what she wants to be happening.]
Not my preference. It is not anyone's preference to be here, in fact. This place--or something in it--has brought you here, and it will not allow any of us to leave.
[At least this time, he was skipping the stuffed in a van, and jumping straight to the morgue bit. Wouldn't want to deal with those messy steps in the middle.]
Yes, yes. Very ominous. If you've finished with your theatrics, perhaps you wouldn't mind sharing what this place is?
Er, I don't think you're dead. I mean, next to no-one else who woke up remembers dying. And the toe-tag doesn't have a cause of death, right? People who are actually dead have that filled in.
No, I didn't mean--What? There are people here who were dead in their world, but are alive here. They had their cause of death written on their toe-tag. I haven't actually spoken to any of them, but I've been keeping track of everyone's entries.
You're not in Kansas any more, you know? Expect crazy wherever you turn.
[Part of him is kinda happy to see Shaun in this place, mostly because he knows Rebecca is struggling more than she wants to admit it, but also because if the team is complete, then maybe they can get some info and find a way out of this hell hole. But then also part of him remembers what the technician had told him after she had let him know the outcome of what had happened in Juno's temple. Even though she said that Shaun didn't blame him, Desmond is not entirely convinced about that. Not that he would resent the historian if the red head did blame him: he had all the good reasons for it after all.
Still, for the moment, the novice looks at the screen with an eyebrow raised, slightly amused at the British complaints.]
I honestly haven't pull the right lever if you're still able to whine, Shaun.
[At least Desmond can reach places. And doesn't have to take any detours when exploring the Coliseum. The novice shakes his head lightly. God, what he'd give for Lucy to put Shaun back into his place.]
I pulled the right one, Shaun. This has nothing to do with me, unlike what you're thinking. We've been transported to a city called Abax and I'm pretty sure it's on none of the maps you've studied.
[...How insane does he sound saying that, really?]

Oh, you thought you'd ask them, did you? The dead people? Talk a lot, those corpses?
Being dead, I'd have thought was a bit of a deterrent.

That doesn't seem so different from home, really. If you were to leave out the whole 'dead walking' side of it.

Yes, you're coming in loud and clear.

Really? Am I? Brilliant.
[The sarcasm is strong in this one.]

[Oh good. Well, at least they had someone to reach high places for them. Change a lightbulb maybe. Quite a reunion, this was.]
Really? Because I would think, had you pulled the right one, we wouldn't be in this mess.

Ah, so it's just a coincidence that you pulled that lever, and we've ended up in another place entirely. That makes perfect sense.
And I am 'pretty sure' that you are incapable of reading a local transit map, let alone doing any real geography.
[Honestly, Desmond. That is just insulting.]
