It seems Comrade Azazel found a way out of the city, and didn't deem it necessary to tell any of us.

[And his tone says that he isn't surprised in the least. While Azazel seemed to like Erik enough--there is no doubt that he had a strong sense of self-preservation ( Read more... )

I'm not alone, you don't have to worry about that.

Staying with the 'ex-mutant' Rogue, no doubt.

Is there a problem with that?

She thinks mutation is a disease that needed to be cured.

I think every mutant should have a problem with that.

[Now that he knows in another timeline that a mutant committed suicide after being attacked with the Cure? Oh man.]

Not everyone can control theirs, and its not easy for everyone. [ Rogue couldn't touch anyone, that pretty much sucked. It was only a problem when it wasn't choice, but she wasn't mentioning that ]

Then you learn to control.

You don't give up or simply turn yourself over to the people who hate us.

First mutants do it voluntarily. But it will become a weapon, and used against all of us.

It starts with her allowing it.

Then they come for all of us.

[ Yeah he was right about that, but they'd turned it into a weapon against him. Everyone else? They'd been left alone ]

If your touch could kill people how do you control that? [ Because gloves only went so far ]

[So far.]

There are ways to control it. There has to be.

And even if there isn't--it isn't a cancer. You don't just cut it out.

It's like ripping your heart out of your chest to save your life.

She just killed a part of her.

It shouldn't be condoned. We shouldn't make her think it's all right.

Because it's not.

It's her choice, if you've got a problem with it that's your opinion. [ She wasn't getting dragged in to it, at least not when it wasn't quite a discussion. She felt mutant hate enough and even though she understood why Rogue had taken the 'cure'? Part of it didn't sit right. She liked being a mutant, it was who she was ]

It's already happened, you can't change that whatever you think.

Her choice is giving humans more fuel against us.

Open your eyes, Kitty.
