[Tony is in a decent sized room, surrounded by what seems to be a junkyard that was dragged inside. But, he seems to be pleased with himself and his mess.]Alright, I think I've got enough scrap to start some small projects. If anyone happens to find anything that looks marginally useful laying around, give me a shout. Especially if you happen to ( Read more... )

I hope that magnifying glass third hand holder thing is working out for you. I mean, it's not much, but...

It's a big help. I sure could use an extra set of real hands, though.

Hey, since I moved here my schedule's totally freed up. Just yell "FIRE!" and I'll come running.

I'll try to avoid yelling that... But I could use your help getting some of this stuff cut down. [Blah blah blah directions go here.]

What small projects will you be willing to accommodate?

It depends on what you've got in mind.

Arrows, to be specific.

I can definitely do arrows. They're a little simpler than I was thinking, but if you're a good shot... I'll make as many as you need.

[Shepard's eyeing that mess with some small amount of curiousity.]

Considering this place apparently isn't playing by the laws of physics with regards to current flow, finding a working computer's probably going to be nothing short of a miracle. As for not working, have you checked the hospital? I'm not up on late 20th century medical record keeping, but it stands to reason they should have a couple in the administrators' offices.

I've gathered as much, from what I've been told. And no, I hadn't checked there. But that's a good idea. Thanks.

You're welcome. [It's a little wryly amused.]

What sort of 'small projects' are you working on?

I guess at this point, just seeing what I can get to work.

Your collection is impressive, but worthless. I've made numerous attempts to re-route power from working devices to non-working devices with no luck.

Unless you plan on building something steam powered.

If it comes down to it, I can make something steam powered. It'd be a little old school for my tastes... But if it works, then it works.

... I was mostly joking, but if you could really pull it off, that would be impressive.

Steam power is surprisingly versatile, if you use it right. It's just a pain in the ass to deal with.

It could very well be. Whoever runs this place might've just brought us all here to mock us.

Good a reason as any other. But if you're beating your head against the wall anyway, may as well join the group effort.

Well, it's better than just sitting around twiddling my thumbs.
