I've been doing much better with actually getting pictures off my camera these days cause I actually need to use my camera now for school. I have to have my teacher take pictures of me teaching to put into my portfolio.
First up is the food:
A couple of weeks ago, we went to the Double Wide Grill in Southside for breakfast. Teddy got the breakfast wrap, vegetarian style:
I got the Southwestern Tofu Wrap:
I didn't try much of his cause I'm not a fan of fake sausage, but both were good!
On Halloween, we went to Make Your Mark and tried their Halloween panini, which was delicious:
Later that day, Aiden came over cause Steph was going to a party. I had to convince him to put this costume back on cause I really wanted to see it and take some pics. I ended up having to put it on to get him to put it on:
On November 7, we went Downtown by the river to see the ship models. They had models of the Pinta and the Niña on the river.
I also got a picture of a neat mural in Downtown:
This isn't Downtown, but here are some pretty churches I photographed in Shadyside:
These days, I've been spending a lot of time with my new friend, Takami. Yamamoto-sensei introduced us when I asked her if she knew any Japanese speakers I could practice my Japanese with. Now, Takami and I meet a lot during the week. We've started a Friday afternoon cooking tradition. Last Saturday, we got together, too, for cooking. She also invited some of her Japanese friends. It was a really great time!
Takami and me last Friday:
A picture of our taco rice:
Takami, me and Miyoko, cooking on Saturday:
Masanori, Takami, Shusuke, Takami, Teddy and me getting ready to eat dinner:
Takami showing me how to make chocolate bread:
This Friday, we're going to cook Thanksgiving food together, which will be fun times!
