how do you inverse pictures using adobe (thats the term used in microsoft paint) takes black parts of pic and turnes them white, white black and normaly the pic turnes out really kewl blues, purples and lime greens...

anyclue how to do that effect using adobe? so simply i'm sure, but not sure how to

Depends what version you have.

PROBABLY you just go into (top toolbar) Image>Mode>Invert.
