You're right. If anybody does anything rash, then it will be harder for us to get organised and do something really well-planned and effective because we'll have to work around detentions and maybe the Carrows will expect something.

You agree? Really? You're right too, Neville -- if they know something is up, they'll just keep a close eye on us and keep us in detention all the time, like you said. Some of us should probably stay in their good graces as a cover, perhaps? I don't know how that would help though.

I'm just really worried that someone like, I don't know, Wayne -- I know that's really horrible and mean of me to say that, and he's a very good person, of course, and it's not really him, but, well, you know what I mean -- might do something really silly in defiance that doesn't really help at all and get us all in trouble for nothing. There are so many people at this table I don't know what to do and we can't keep them all under control, you know?

I don't know how we would use spies, but they might be useful eventually. I'm really glad Padma is still Head Girl, for example, and you're still a prefect, even if you're at this table with me the rest of us.

We should talk to Wayne.

I don't know either, but it might help to have people that the Carrows would be more willing to overlook, you know? Even with so many people missing, which is really awful, at least there are still so many students still here that they can't watch everyone. Even with magic, I think, but then again, I could be and am probably wrong about that.

I'm glad Padma is still Head Girl too, but I wonder how much she can really do to help with Snape and the Carrows keeping such a close eye on her -- well, I don't know that for sure, but I'd imagine they are or they'd have given her badge to Parkinson already -- and how long that will last. Same with me being a prefect, especially now that I'm at this table, even I've behaved so far I wish I was brave enough to do more.

We should -- I think it might help if we let him do something and keep an eye on him when he does, rather than let him do something silly himself. I mean, he's going to do something anyway, isn't he? And I don't want to see him do it alone and get hurt. I was supposed to talk to ( ... )

Oh Hannah, why would any of us do anything rash? I'm an angel, me.
