I'm rather looking forward to going back, actually. I always miss everyone terribly during the holidays, but especially my dearest friends and Puffs. Even though I've seen you all lots, it's not the same as sharing a common room, is it ( Read more... )

I only looked in the feline section, but as we were coming in the door they had little bowler hats for budgies stacked up on the floor. So, I'd imagine they had clothes for all sorts of animals, including dogs! Oh, I do wish I'd posted sooner, then you would've had time to get him one! And magic tricks, what a clever dog. Whiskers can almost juggle, you know.

Really?! Mister Merkin is pretty small though, so I'm sure feline merchandise would fit him just fine!

Do you think I could get them at Hogsmead too?? Poor Mister Merkin doesn't even have a colar!

Yes, Mister Merkin is a real prodigy, you know!!! And HE IS SO ADORABLE!!! I love you Mister Merkin! Juggle, really?? That's fascinating!

You could try the little pet shop next to the tailors! Or maybe the Menagerie would send one to you via owl, if your mum or dad pays for it at the shop! If you can't get one though, perhaps Whiskers would lend it to Mister Merkin every so often.

He looks very nice in that picture, yes. I do think cats are more adorable, myself, but for a dog, he's just lovely!

ah, Fortescue's, one of the best things about shopping in Diagon Alley!
don't worry about not growing, you still have time. besides, there's nothing wrong with being short!
if you are good at knitting then maybe you can make me a new school scarf? I'm afraid Hermione will be too busy with terrorist activities promoting SPEW and studying.

er, didn't you say your cat was a he? fluffy purple sparkly things might not be the best thing for his manliness, you know. but a frog scarf, that might be alright.

Well. Oh dear, I'm not very good at knitting, really. You might be better off getting someone else, but I'd certainly be happy to try for you! It's just red and gold, isn't it? Mum will probably have some wool I can borrow, and I'll make a start this week if you still want. It might take a while to get it right though, just to let you know.

Actually, Whiskers is very secure in his masculinity, Neville. He's quite the little gentlecat. Why, two summers ago, he even had kittens! I do like the frog scarf best, though. I think he does too, as he looks rather lovely in it.

Well, his little girlfriend had kittens, technically, I suppose! Four of them, each every bit as adorable as my boo.
