 - I almost forgot to sign up for NaNoWriMo this year, but then I remembered that you can sign up after October 1.  I am busier than I have ever been in my entire life, so this should be an interesting November (but I am very excited about my idea, so...)

- I can't wait to hear about your NaNoWriMo novel! Please, please, please make time for those posts where you write to your characters, because that's my favorite part of the process. :-)

- Keep us posted about Ava! I hope she feels better soon.

Not too much is new in my neck of the woods, although I will say that I am currently torn between loving the notion of spending October (seriously my favorite month, I think) at home with Bryan and getting things done around our house and feeling guilty for not seeing people as much as I'd like (case in point, this past weekend). :-(

For me it's the teaching part that's just stressful, stressful, stressful. But, depending on where you live, you can get alternatively certified, and maybe your MLS already will transfer over into a school librarian degree. A friend of mine found out his did, but he'd have to take like 8 classes to get it. Whereas most of my degree transfers over because I took children't lit courses, plus the four classes that pretain only to school media specialists.
