The bean bag game sounds like cornhole! Everyone was really into it in Cincinnati, but I thought it was kind of weird...

YES!!! Is that not the most fucked up phenomenon you've ever seen? I don't remember this being a thing back when we were in college. But maybe that's because it tends to be played by Wrigleyville-type guys. People are playing it all over the north side, though! Roland's friends made their own set...ridiculous. I thought it was a Chicago thing, but guess it's a Midwest thing???

Yeah, understandable not to update livejournal much when there's facebook. I update it almost purely for you and ashley to read if you are curious. The intense summer posting will end once school starts - I basically justed wanted to document this summer.

Yeah, I should keep it up-to-date for you and mom (and whatever handful of friends might still be reading), but I'm lazy. I think of things to post while I'm out and about, but by the time I get to a computer, I'm bored with posting those things. I do appreciate that you've been posting so much, though. I like hearing what you're up to!

Heh. I get lazy too, usually. This summer I've been updating when I get home, and saving to drafts until I pile up enough stuff for an entry worthy size.

Lol. It's kind of crazy. I have more than 10 posts up for about six or seven weeks.

it's not a college thing...these guys are older! anyway, you have two sloped wooden boards several feet across from each other with a hole near the top edge. you have two teams and you take turns trying to get the beanbags in the hole. you get different amounts of points for getting it in the hole or landing it on the board. first to reach a certain number of points wins. it's ridiculous!
