Oh man, there goes the neighbourhood!

Walking out to get some Indian food takeaway I see some little heads popping up and down behind a fence on Brockley Cross across from a block of flats (one of which has aptly had letters removed from it's name, thus changing it from "Conifer house", to "Conifer Use"). Can@t believe it either. Shame kids that young are a) out on the streets alone and even worse b) wielding weapons. As for Brockley, those shops just near the train station are quite posh and when you walk to Mathias' flat there the street it's on is quite posh. However, when I walked down one of the side streets to the train station, I got a car pulling up next to me and cutting off my path - I believe the guy in the car wanted to pull me into it or something (as it was late at night and he'd 'hey babied' me then backed the car up like half the street to where I was). Don't know if this comes across as this in writing but the situation was such (as he drove off then came back round the block). Anyway, the point is I thought Brockley was quite safe as it has parts that are posher than Walthamstow for example, but I guess not.
