I stopped to drop off some clothes that Cassie (Dorian's old babysitter) had let me borrow for Dorian. She isn't watching any kids anymore, not a surprise. She is pregnant again, 11 weeks. Her son, Stephen was born at 28 weeks (1 lb 12 oz) and her daughter, Kaitlyn, was stillborn at 28 weeks (a week before Dorian was born) she found out on Friday that she's having twins. It's exciting, but at the same time, this was already considered a very high risk pregnancy, and twins makes it that much more, plus they think that there is fluid around the brain of one of them :(. I'm really hoping everything goes well for them. Her husband was a twin and his twin had Downs Syndrome and died at 6 months. I don't understand how one family can have so much heartache, it's not fair. Every time I think of Cassie, I remember how lucky we are to have such a healthy baby. I can't imagine what she's been through, I don't think I could handle another miscarriage, and that's so little compared to this!
I'm very proud of myself, got some good gifts for CHEAP today. I got an ornament for part of my secret santa gift for $1.95 (So far I've gotten her a robe, candle and ornament for $20.00, $5 more to spend!) and I took my memory card into walmart and had prints made from it for my mom and MIL, cost $4.98 total, plus scanned Dorian's santa picture to send to mom and MIL also, I did one full page so that was $4 something also. Then, the best gifts, I went to the Dollar Tree next to Walmart and found these really cute ceramic painted frames with Santa on them for $1.00. Dorian's santa picture fits in there perfectly! So I figure I spent about $6 on both our moms. Now I have to send everything, that shouldn't be too bad.
I got tons of presents wrapped today, I only have one left to do for Ben and then I need to find a small box for my stepmom's gift. Ben's cordless tool set is just getting a big-ass bow on it. I think moving it from the house to the car to the house will tear the paper, plus he already knows hes getting it.
Dorian is pretty fussy today, he's teething, I think he should have a new tooth any day! He's drooling like crazy and his nose is running, doesn't seem to have any other cold-like symptoms. He didn't sleep well last night which is okay since I didn't have to work today, but I do have to work tomorrow, so lets hope things are better tonight!
Guess I should go finish folding the laundry, that's my least favorite thing to do...blah!
