Last night, I played a game unlike any other game I’ve ever played. It’s only about a megabyte, is an executable without an install process, and plays for exactly five minutes. That really was a great game. I feel older.

What does it say about me that I never paid any attention to the treasure chests, and didn't figure out that they were part of a complicated mechanic? I noticed that some of them gave me a star, but it didn't seem important to me. I just walked along with my wife in the wide-open north. When she died it looked like I was pretty much finished too, so I stopped walking forward and just paced around in place so that we ended up buried side by side. It created a deep melancholy, but at the same time I feel like I got a happy ending.

Also, have you considered that (at least from an outsider's perspective) your life is going very well by the artist's standards?
