I think that the only concern that the ultra-rich have, is scheming how to become even more ultra-rich (well that, and figuring out how to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.)
When my wife and I married, we skipped the expensive ceremony and had a simple Justice of the Peace wedding at the county courthouse instead. We also skipped buying rings, and took the money that we saved by skipping the ceremony and rings and then eventually used that for a down payment on the house that we now live in. Fast foreward to the present, and we've now been married almost 21 years, and also live in a house that we've managed to completely pay off.
The way some people are obsessed with big fancy weddings and big fancy wedding rings, you'd almost think there was some sort of law that forced people to spend everything they have on meaningless ceremonies and gaudy rings.

Being rich has never been a goal of mine, and the more I think about it the more I realize that, even if I could, I wouldn't live that kind of lifestyle. It seems like it's generally accepted that everyone wants to be rich, and I can't believe it's true, because this life is so much more interesting.
I just am so saddened, I guess, or maybe scared of the way people are so lost in their imaginations. Even people that have no imaginations... You're presented with one way of behaving and most people decide that's where it's at, but it's actually completely bottomless.

What makes one psychosis any more elite than anyone's? How one dimensional are these people? I only ever see them smiling or absolutely devastated.
