Compared with other social networking sites ... livejournal feels kind of claustrophobic. The user base seems to be constantly shrinking, and there's a noticable shortage of folks who have anything interesting/original to say (except for you, reader, of course.)

I guess now that the Casey Anthony case is over, US news agencies will finally start talking about the triple melt-down at Fukushima, the two partially submerged nuclear power plants in Nebraska, and Israel's interference with, and sabotage of, the Gaza Freedom Flotilla ... right? right?

Or maybe they'll just find another sex/murder/child-abuse case to focus on, in order to make it easier to ignore all the scarey stories that might upset people.

you are right and so much more you must be left...

Isunreal's interference is really awful - there is so much weighty, foreboding news, it's shameful... but in the same 3 minute newscast where i heard the casey anthony case verdict, the announcer was already mention some other damn stupid trial - forgot what it was - but at least they are focusing on Nancy Grace now, and rightly: "news of the world", until they can come up with a new really juicy banal story to cover

I didn't even know about no Nebraska plants. Like the inbreds in a place like that need any radioactivity affecting their brains any more.
