And yes, after years of "okay" knife, I have bought one good one and boy is it better, couldn't agree more with you! :D
And best of all, yours will outlast a lot of the cheap ones your roommates would "hand you down" in the long run. ;)

I basically just have enough stuff to function right now. :P

It just so happens I was standing in the dining room, though I've yet to get a dining room table since I often eat in front of the TV. XD

3) Grats on the kitchen knives. I did the same thing until Cheetah showed me the wonders of Wusthof. I was using a steak knife *gasp* to cut EVERYTHING... including people. Wusthofs go in much easier.
