My room is now barren and empty... or at least my half. I've spent the last couple days packing everything into boxes and deciding what is necessary and what goes into storage. Pretty much everything I own is once again going into storage, being that I will be living out of my bag this summer, so I had three piles: necessary things for this

I know what you mean. I spent 8 hours sorting yesterday, and I'm nowhere near done. I have another pile, too, though, which is easily breakable stuff I have to be careful with when I'm bringing it back home. Living out of backpacks, we will be. I don't think anyone knew they had so many clothes/junk/whatever.

It feels funny to give away a skateboard, a DVD-rom drive, a stereo, and push a rolling chair out of a 5-story window just because you don't have the space for them anymore, and you don't REALLY need them.

That's awesome about your sister, I feel the same way about mine. She just turned 21 recently also, and with us, the more time we're apart, the more respect we treat each other with.
