When my husband was married before they had two dogs and had the insurance. He said it had decent coverage but that he was not sure it was worth it. So for our one dog we don't have it.

Hmm...i'm looking at a few places that do subsidized spaying, but i'm mostly concerned that every time we go to the vet's it will be 100+ per pet. I want to keep them as health as possible but geez!

Yeah, our dog gets fatty cyst about twice a year and has to get those removed, we usually get her teeth cleaned while she is already out so that saves us a little money but not much.

Hmm, I will not be much help. We were considering it for my four year old tinytoypoodle a while back, but ultimately decided not to go with it. We're v. "what if" people, have insurance for everything, "just in case", but it didn't seem to be all that helpful.

Then again, we live in a fairly rural area, so our costs aren't that high. I'm sure that rates vary based on location, so it wouldn't hurt to see if they could help your higher fees. It might be more financially feasible for you!

(hmm, sorry, knew I wouldn't help much!)
