Motrin = Ibuprofen. Just a brand name. So, yeah. That's the idea. We shall see.

The surgeon said, "Well, if you can go with nothing but ibuprofen after having your tendon ripped apart, your bone drilled through... (I don't remember the other two things he included in that little litany, but that was the gist), you're doing great."

Thanks for the details and pictures. Glad you're managing without oxy. I don't tolerate that stuff either. Sounds like you'll have you're work cut out for you making sure you nurse your bionic knee all through the school year.
