Your mom isn't ridiculous for wanting to know when you're coming home or not. How is she supposed to know whether you're at a friends house or being raped by some guy in a dark alley somewhere? Seems legitimate to me. You should be grateful that she loves you enough to worry about you. Not everyone is that lucky.
