with all noe's others, amongst my favorites. this may be my favorite of his - carne was great as well; am i alone in finding irreversible a bit tiring after one or two viewings?

I was thinking about getting Irreversible next ... is it worth watching at all? What about it makes the film tiring?

It's absolutely, definitely worth seeing. It's done in reverse - amazing the first time, somewhat boring afterwards.

As with any Noe, eat a light lunch/dinner before viewing. This one's no exception.

I'd love to hear what you thought of it afterwards, but I'd also recommend that you see Carne before it, if you can.

i actually highly disagree, ive found watching irreversible more than once gives you better understanding of everything, i found it highly rewatchable and personally it is my favorite noe film although i have no seen carne or that new segment in that film done by a bunch of directors he did recently - and yes, light lunch on irreversible, it contains one of the most affective violents scenes ive ever seen in a film
