Living in a city where it always rains, it has been nice to have a few solid months of sunshine instead.
But I had forgotten the soothing scent of rain on the dry concrete, and the thunder is much louder than I recall.

actually, one crack this afternoon was the loudest thunder i've ever heard -- and i'm from ontario.
i was commenting on exactly that -- the soothing scent of rain on concrete..
most wonderfully, it was so hot when it hit, and some sun stayed out to stave off the gloom a little longer.
