The looper threads get sucked into tiny tubes that carry them along the proper path and then out the other end. All I have to do is feed an inch or so of thread into the tube and then, using the power of AIR, the worst is over.

I've spent more time trying to thread sergers than some countries have spent existing, I think. Plus there's a nifty ant-sized hook that swings into position to thread the left and right needles, but the novelty of that is pale in comparison.

I am kryptonite to sewing machines. It is my superpower. I make the choke and die.

It is a TRAGEDY because I love to sew and I would dearly love to make my own clothes, but...fail.

I get along with machines well enough, but I'm not all that great at sewing. I mean, I can sew and I can even sew well, but . . . I need a lot of improvement, let's say. I think it's because I'm sloppy and try to take shortcuts. That doesn't work well in sewing. :P

OOh pretty! Self-threading sewing machines definitely equal awesomeness.

If I get around to it, I might. I'm still several projects behind on my Ravelry account, heh.
