Oh Greenie, the GRE does not deserve so many hours of ANYONE'S time. Seriously. Make flash cards and you'll be good.

I haven't taken the exam yet, so I'm probably setting myself up for failure, but I *am* the disaffected twentysomething. It's like the SAT, only minus the high school rivalries.

according to a chat i had today with some people, you can take the gre up to once a month, and most schools apparently don't even average your scores.

oh yeah, and the real point of posting on your journal is that yes, i'm totally with you there on sometimes wanting to simply eschew all forms of social contact, and hole up in my room with a book.

of course, this doesn't ever happen. but the feeling is there.
