:( I don't mind occasional texts, especially when it's something that's not worth a phone call. But I don't have unlimited texting and most of my friends do.. so it's basically their preferred medium.

Btw, are you going to Tom Petty this summer?

When everyone creams their pants over mediocre movies. I'm looking at you, Juno.

IAWTC. And also the Across the Universe deal, also.

I might do this tommorow when I can think of decent answers.

The way you feel about "random" is the way I feel about the "weird." People use it to describe a wide range of things. ("What you did the other day, Cameron - I dunno, that was kinda ...weird") Like I'm going to accept your judgement when you can even fucking articulate what you're trying to say?
("Have you heard about the children killed in the tornado? That's just so...weird.") I don't know if you've seen Hannah and her Sisters, but that movie features an airhead pop star who overuses that word, to the dismay of Max Von Sydow's cantankerous intellectual.

What I hate most about texting is when I'm crafting a nice response, and the other person asks an unrelated question, and I think "What do I do with this paragraph I've already written? Save it to a clipboard for later?

Regarding movies: although i don't wish to dictate what I think are great movies and which aren't, I nonetheless urge people to stretch a bit, explore older films, independants, foreign, as a way of experiencing new things. And if you STILL think that Juno, ( ... )

I like to use the word 'bizarre.' It makes me sound more worldly, and it flows nicely off the tongue.

I would say something about your movie thoughts, but.. you know I agree with that shit.

Also, awww Cam your icon. I am a sucker for dudes in glasses.

I'm sure you use the word bizarre correctly. My beef is when people use weird to mean various things, like "tragic" or "heartbreaking" in the latter case.

As for that pic, I snapped a shot of myself - working from home - to capture a moment of stultifying boredom I was feeling. Here's the entire image. I like how you see my guitar - a source of pleasure and inspiration - is behind me as i have to stare at my computer monitor.

Glad you like it! (though the slovenly unmade bed leaves something to be desired, I admit)

I always say: Whenever you hear the phrase "The one radio station everyone at work can agree on," run screaming.
