To Those in the Know

Thomas is okay and gone, but Mums is apparently really upset about seeing him go through that, as you would be... She's not so good. She's holed herself up, which she never does. She says she needs to 'deal with some stuff' whatever that means. She'll be fine, I just hate it when she's weird because usually Mums is so open and now there's ( Read more... )

Somehow, wanting to be loved, and wanting to keep Thomas here in pain really don't gel to me. Personally, I don't know what can be done, either. I suppose Peter is the ultimate authority. But I'm still all for kicking Brian off this plane of existence. It's not as though he's a necessary need.

Poor Mums. I can only imagine what it must have been like to see her son suffering like that.

Because she's making it up? I think she thinks it's legitimate, but it's so clearly bogus. She'll just pull what Brian did. He played 'nice' until he got what he wanted. No way in Hell am I falling for that shit. And no. Brian is not necessary, but we have to find someone willing to do it first. True mediums who can do that? Pretty rare, and the ones we know aren't interested in going anywhere near her and I don't blame them.

I know. How are you? Have you been to see him? Is he okay now?

Yes... we all know what that fiendish man is like. At least they're safely away where they can't do any harm. I'll never stop being grateful to my father for that.

It never does cease to amaze me that with all the strange beings we know, mediums come up rare. And there are so many out there who claim to be. Curious... ever curious.

I've been to see him, yes. He seemed shaken still, but I have no doubt he'll be all right now. This time, at least, he wasn't taken away from his family. I think that makes a big difference. He still had to face Amaris, but in the long run, it might even turn out to be good that he did that, too. She can't threaten us any more, and Thomas can truly know that now.

Neither will I, even if I don't care to associate with him.

Well, seeing and communicating with ghosts is different than ejecting them to another plane... I think that would, obviously, take a lot of talent. Like travelling to the Beyond!

Yes. He really can. Thank everything. I love him so much. You didn't answer though. Are you alright? I know it couldn't have been easy watching him go through it all.

Personally, I don't much care about Amaris' state of mind. We got Thomas out of here. As far as I was concerned, everything else was secondary.

Of course, if there's anything I can do for Lavinia, I'm absolutely up for that. Given that Thomas won't be back for a bit, it doesn't look like I'm going to be going anywhere. Don't worry, I can handle it. But I do want to make myself useful.

You and I? We are of an accord.

I hope you're alright, Mary... As for Lavinia, she'll emerge in a few days and talk it out. It's how it goes with her. Thomas did get it from somewhere!!

By the time he left, he looked almost like he did after Anaris by the end and I couldn't stop remembering his memories of that time.... Argh. Not good. So glad he's okay.

I have faith in our Lavinia.

You know, Abby, the downside of being Abby is that you don't have an Abby to talk to. I'm here for you, too. Those memories... I know how rough that must be.

So do I. Always.

Gold star sister-in-law award. I think mutual talkage would be a good idea.

Thank fuck for that. I hate seeing Thomas in pain. It's bollocks.

Amaris, on the other hand... grumblegrumble.

So do I. He tries to hard to hide it but he can't... Our poor Thomas... It's such a relief to know he's okay.

Mmm.
