It's definitely 44 degrees outside right now. It's freezing!!! I could certainly see my breath as I was walking in this morning. ew. But I bet it would have been worse if I'd had to park farther than 5 spaces away! (the perks of having an 8:00...) ha! My feet are really cold though, and I have tennis shoes on

hey. I'm Jen. I graduated a year ahead of you and was in band with everyone...I got your journal through Ash and Halley.
Just wanted to comment about this entry. i thought Raise Your Voice was a good movie too. I was in band and into music and such so the whole school thing was cool, and aside from the occasional predictable or "cheesy" parts. I liked it.
And about the whole southern twang and NOVA stuff. ha. I went to Christopher Newport and EVERYONE there was from Northern Va and made fun of Justin Brewer and myself for how we said things and our accents. it was quite humorous. I don't see it myself..but i do have an accent that comes out sometimes. What I like is when I went to visit my family in Colorado, they couldn't get over the accent or when my cousin moved here with her husband. ha.
Anywho I'll stop takin up space now...

hey, I know who you are...haha. I read your journal sometimes too.
I went to Roanoke College last year, and strangely everyone there is from the North, too, so I had an accent.

ahh i see. i didnt know if youd know who i was or not. but its all gravy. yeh im not even sure who all reads my journal..sometimes i think noone even does, course i dont really update much anymore, never have the time to.
Everyone at Roanoke was from the NOrth?? hmm. Yeh I was in newport news and ud think everyone would be from Va Beach area or newport news..but no about 75percent were NOVA kids. haha.

yeah, it's strange--everyone at Roanoke is from Connecticut or Massachusetts. Lotsa Yankees...ha.
