Went to Mysore over the weekend by car (Maruti Zen) and had a tough time due to rain. Many roads in Mysore were flooded with water and I lost my way. Not too familiar with Mysore. I was afraid the car would sink or water would could get into the engine. Nothing of that sort happened. Even on my way back, it rained continuously for 3-4 hours and

Right now some 4-lane work is in progress and some stretches are 1/2 lane :). Deep trenches on either side and lot of trucks. So better avoid it.
