Can this be real? The iphone stuff, while cool, didn't make me sqee, but this, this has me wet in the pants.
If you can get pubmed and journal article access with it, I think that I may have to save up for one for my b-day or something. That is so hott, I can't even wrap my head around it. I would finally be able to read the way that I want to, but my eyes won't allow and my back will yell at.
Like you, I don't ever buy first generation technology. I work too hard for my money to deal with those major issues that come up. I'll wait and save my pennies for the 2nd run. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a review on cnet.com or some other techy website.

First gen technology is for the birds, but $400 for a first run tech like this seems to be pretty reasonable, I know the iPods and iPhones were both $500. I think it's viability will depend on how well it takes off or doesn't. But yeah, oh the possibilities...

Both have their limitations - I'm not sure that I'm willing to pay that much and not be able to read pdf files and to pay for blog subscriptions that aren't in color (the screen is only black and white)...I'll wait and keep watching...
