methinks you might need to enter into Miss Angela's Chili Cookoff this winter.

I have contemplated said cookoff, but I feel like I would be vastly outdone because of it being vegan and all.

I don't think you ahve to worry. Everything is judged on taste.

I am planning my entree this yr.. and it is decidedly NOT vegan.

what an unusual recipe! it sounds awesome! you need to enter this in a contest somewhere, seriously. it's always the weird shit that wins.

ps i totally made chili today because you mentioned it a few days ago, haha. mine's vegetarian -- lots of garbanzos and brown sugar and honey and black beans and tobasco. you could easily make it vegan. yum yum.

i came back here for the chili recipe (making it this weekend) and saw this comment and HAVE to tell you that lately, when Chico gets all grumpy on my ass, i look at him with my best Duder face and say, "this aggression will not stand, man!" it hasn't worked, but i've been chuckling more!

Yes, this coming from someone who doesn't eat FRUIT or VEGGIES.

But I notice similarities in Megan's and Jamie's, like the cinnamon and cocoa. It sounds completely wonderful.
