I thought this was a funny story. Particularly the last bit. I have this love/hate thing with nuns- since I went to Catholic school. Most of the teachers were laypeople; ex-hippy, anti-war pacifists (hence our incredible knowledge of all things Viet Nam and that Columbus was the Real Savage). Strangely progressive for a Catholic school, thank God.

The nuns moved to P-town? Wow. That story has a much happier ending than the current story of the fighting nuns.

Yes they did! Well, first they left the order of course :) I think the stories romantacized it a bit more than reality- I'm guessing they went through some stress. But P-town's beautiful (I'm biased since I grew up in MA)
