oh oh oh

this natter business
is awfully
strange. mine has nearly

escaped so many times.
i have to be
very

careful about keeping it's tether very

tight.

and poor teddy!
his has run off

somewhere! if anyone
sees it, you ought to
let him know. or me,
and i can
relay the message.

I think I just saw two Natters running down the girls' dormitory steps... one of those wouldn't happen to be yours, would it? If yours has any distinguishing characteristics, if I ever see it I'll try to catch it for you, although I'm not sure how long I'll be able to hold on to it.

Mine appears to be unconscious at the moment, which is the only reason I have this window of writing opportunity.

thank you for the offer
dean! i've managed
to hold

on to mine for now,
but
only thanks to the tether.

i suppose one
of them
could be teddy's.
it's very
fast, although how
it got into the
gryffindor common room

i don't
know. perhaps it leaps?

Mine stays calm when I sing to it, and keeps making this rumbling noise like it's purring which is weird enough to make me want to just let it go.

I've been hearing scrambling and hissing from under Wayne's bed, too. I reckon his natter's after his cat again. Fred and George Weasley did say these things couldn't actually mate, right? Because I would really hate to see the offspring that couple would bear.
