Well, hullo there! I suppose it would sound like that, really, wouldn't it -- though it doesn't quite sound like I'm the only one.

Of course your not! I am sure there are many people who are just as cheerful!

From the sound of it, I'd say I was speaking to just one of those. I'm the Doctor, by the way.

Well there's a voice I didn't expect to hear again.

Oh, well, that tends to happen quite a bit, really. S'pose it counts double for a place like this, yeah?

Most definitely. I'm not even going to bother to ask you if you recall being here, as the odds are against that.

Oh, but that's the sort of man I am, really -- bit of an anomaly when it comes to odds. Odd, even! Odd when it comes to odds. Hah!

[...] It's interesting how some people return with their memories and others without.

Oh, it is, isn't it? Very interesting. Toying with peoples' memories, dragging people 'round through time and space, pulling them out of different universes -- I'd say these Scientists are terribly interesting.

I imagine that's one word for them most can agree on.

Well, at this rate I'm starting to think everyone's got a different word for them. Sneakies, sadists, what-have-you -- I'm still a fan of duplicitous, myself.

You've been here before?

Reply

abitmoresonic July 18 2009, 17:08:25 UTC
I have! A few more times than I thought, though, from the sound of it.

lyraofoxford July 18 2009, 17:10:42 UTC
Really? You mean you remembered some times but not others? Who are you?

abitmoresonic July 18 2009, 17:35:50 UTC
Well. It seems that way, really, but maybe I just haven't gotten there, yet -- it's always hard to be sure, really, time being the way it is. Still! For now it seems you've hit the nail on the proverbial head.

Oh? What's this? I recognize that voice...

Welcome back to everyone's nightmare. Lucky, you've missed the earthquakes caused by the volcano by a week or so.

Do you! Right, of course, you're. ...Well.

abitmoresonic July 18 2009, 16:51:40 UTC
...Are you sure you remember it? Bit of a common voice, mine, I s'pose it'd be easy to sound like someone else. Well. Maybe not so much in a place like this.

You voice and speech patterns aren't as common as you'd like to think.

However, from the sounds of it, you don't remember me. Perhaps re-introductions are in order?

I'm Little Washu. It's a pleasure to meet you again.
