[the communicator switches on; to a sound like vworp, vworp, vworp, starting off loud and then cutting off. then there are a few moments of silence before the sound of a door clicking and then creaking open, followed by the crunch of footsteps and what sounds like quick mutterings]

Oh, it is, isn't it? Very interesting. Toying with peoples' memories, dragging people 'round through time and space, pulling them out of different universes -- I'd say these Scientists are terribly interesting.

Well. It seems that way, really, but maybe I just haven't gotten there, yet -- it's always hard to be sure, really, time being the way it is. Still! For now it seems you've hit the nail on the proverbial head.
