Well, it's not meant to be used yet. It simulates the turn of the season, from winter into summer. The program isn't finished yet, you see, so all that's functioning is the heating program, not the cooling program. With just the heating program, the balance isn't stable, and if it switches onto another setting, the particle accelerator setting, which is, well, basically what the cooling and heating system is, and it could implode.

Oh, don't be so thick. It's not a self-destruct button, weren't you listening? It simply changes the mode. The problem with that is that the cooling mode hasn't been modified and finished.

And what, exactly, makes you so certain we're doomed? The population here is far better than you'd think, I'd wager.
