I am getting my hair cut today! For the first time in, like, forever!! It can be a fresh start. New hair, new attitude...new life? Well, I guess it depends how powerful you think hair is, lol. But new Shani, perhaps...

Whoa, that's a really long time. But your hair is curly so you can get away with that stuff. If I don't do constant maintenance it shows immediately.

Well, my hair either looks longer curly or shorter curly, anyway. Doesn't ever look different. Don't even know why I'm bothering to get excited. :/ Maybe it's more for the coloring than the cut...

So how did hair cut go? Pleased or not so pleased?

A girl at my work had her very long hair (was needing a cut as it was a bit dull looking) cut at the weekend but she has gotten it cut waaaay too short to suit her. She asked my opinion on it and I had to be at my diplomatic best to say..... "mmm it is certainly different and it certainly is a big change" I muttered some other things but I think I just about covered the fact that I think it looks shit!! Ah well it will grow back...... unlike some people *cries* ;-)

Pleased, overall, just feeling a tiny bit, er, scalped. A bit shorter than I expected. But I think it looks nice and it'll grow in nicely. It's good to have a change every once in a while.

Well glad that it worked out well. I still remember the first time I shaved my head. It was not particularly long before the shave but after I did it I think I wore a baseball cap for a few days until I got used to it :-)

Well they say a change is as good as a holiday...... although I suspect a holiday is much better :-)
