I could only find two versions of this on YouTube. One has the English language soundtrack but poor quality video. This is a better video but has the original German audio and explanatory subtitles. I was surprised to find that the DVDs of Silly Symphonies aren't available except at outrageous prices.

It's possible that I saw it when I was a kid but I have no memory of it. I'm pretty sure I'd remember it since it pushes so many buttons. But unless it showed up on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Colour there wouldn't have been any way of seeing it, unlike the Warner's cartoons which aired frequently.

I may have, but I don't remember it. I'll watch the others tomorrow. :)

I've been stressing my wee f-list with cartoon posts. I've seen 'Thru the Mirror' but not for a long time and not in French. The 'Babes in Toyland' episode has always been a favourite but I posted it (possibly for the second time) because I was reading about the animation of that scene. 'The Karnival Kid' was suggested as the possible origin of the Mouseketeer ears.
