I don't but that is a fascinating question. Perhaps it has something to do with the tradition of cats being witches' familiars? They basically have a bad rap?
A cat as the 'familiar' of popular fiction villains goes back to at least the late 19th century - and probably much earlier but I'd have to think about it. In film though - I have no idea. The Claw, in Dick Tracy's Dilemma, is partial to cats in general.
