The Abitibi is a river in northern Ontario. Hemsworth was surveying for a dam there when he wrote the song.

I think I saw Bullwinkle Moose in there. Never heard that song before but it's a catchy tune. I'll hum it most of today.

The chorus is an earworm. The video was used as a filler on TV quite often in the early 90s and I couldn't get it out of my head.
