Verdi, Carucci, secrets, and guard llamas

Things have been pretty quiet lately, which I really appreciate. Work, derby, and the commute are taking most of my energy these days.

So here are some random links.

The first sentence in the above quote is irrelevant -- all that matters is the second sentence. We had family friends growing up who had llamas, and those things are mean, nasty creatures.

It's true that they're very protective, though. A friends of mine grew up on a farm in Oregon, and they used llamas to guard their flock.
