First off, you don't need to apologize for not being perfect. You're human, just like everyone else, so if anyone tells you to be perfect then they're a hypocrite.

Secondly, I don't think it should offend anyone. It's your journal & if you don't feel safe or secure with randoms strangers on it then you have every right to take any action that'll make it safe & secure again. For you, not for anyone else.

Thirdly, I don't think you're b'awwwing for attention.
