A question to all......

I am very interested in your opinion as to why our generation uses the word 'like' like so god damn much. I hate to hear people say it all the damn time.....but I know I say it just as much.
Feedback on this epidemic would be greatly appreciated by all.

yeah, it can drive me crazy as well. i would say that every culture/subculture has it's set of common words. i would say when people get excited they can use the word 'like' a lot to convey a message. but yeah, it seems popular to use like with the prep crowd. annoying...yes...should they die...maybe.
