Every year when fall rolls around - or, as Californians in my neck of the woods have been known to call it, “second summer” - my heart starts beating a little more quickly. Because if it’s fall, that means it’s time for Yuletide! And Yuletide, as everyone knows, is one of the highlights of the holiday season

Canon-divergence AU in which Ruth is Chief Justice! Or in which Barack became a Justice instead of President (perhaps being named by President Hillary?)

Wouldn't it? It'd be sad to imagine a world in which Barack wasn't President, but on the other hand he would be such a good Supreme Court Justice. :) [I'm also totally up for futurefic in which ex-President Barack is named as a Justice by President Hillary. I know it won't happen, but it would be epic. And hey, there's precedent! Thanks Taft. ;)]
