hehe, i was actually a bit disappointed because i had imagined the terra cotta place to be much bigger; there was nothing much in the 2nd and 3nd display room. did you visit 西安历史博物馆? i liked that place a lot, with things from early stone age all the way to the qing dynasty.
oh and about the green taxis...my friends said they did have quite a bit of red ones too. but two years ago ppl spread the words that someone with SARS had gotten into a red taxis, so only the green ones had business after that, hehe.
That's so unbelievable, I TOTALLY believe it! heh... so what you doing in China, travel, work, or study, all of the above; and where did you get to go?
Um... I guess the middle one...! It looks a lot smaller in that picture!
I can't get over how many people are in that 2nd picture.. that's nuts!
Well, after reading your exerpt you gave me, I couldn't help but wander thru yours and Robert's journals a bit. Pretty neat!! Altho Robert REALLY wrote a lot in the summer of 2003. With yours I went backwards but didn't log in... totally different to read just the public posts!
Anyway, I'm really glad my close friends keep journals. Helps me keep tabs on 'em. :P
