You can still do it with creative use of copy/paste with animated smilies (which, I think, is why they made 'em instantly change to animated smilies in the window, though with notepad this is laughably easy to get around) over MSN. Only problem with that is it's kinda your processor vs. theirs, and what it does is totally freeze up their computer (or yours, if you're not careful).
